Robot of the Day: January 12
Just as all “big things” happen, there was no preface, no hints, at what perception-altering event lay ahead. One moment the dry, dusty emptiness of the tunnel system, and then, in a shallow alcove, evidence of an entirely unknown facet of the robots’ existence. The edge of the map had been unfolded to reveal a terrible landscape.
Robot of the Day: January 8
A few days later we returned to the tunnel better prepared: more lights, supplies, and a friend. Safety in numbers, right?
Robot of the day: July 11
The traveling robot that has befriended me recently shared a story unlike any other. If fact I was so astounded that I made no notes and simply listened, transfixed. When they were done, robot then abruptly stood and left, tossing an excuse over their shoulder. I sat in stunned silence for a moment and then quickly sketched something based on the incandescent story still burning through my brain. Like an over-exposed photograph, detail was washed out and lacking. I vowed to speak to the robot again and compose a proper visual document of their story.

I bring you tin whiskers and battery dendrites. I bring you corrupt data packets and loss of signal. All is lost to time.
