Thank you! I read your story “Father Knows Best” and was enthralled. It touched on a subject I have pondered, off and on, over the years: how do we treat the things we create? What does that reveal about ourselves? Do we imbue our creations with meaning? Is it okay to let go of our creations and let them find their own way? The intersection of robotics, human psychology, and ethics is a fertile ground for the imagination.
Thank you. I’d just read an article about a study conducted to determine why children instinctually beat up robots, and the story was inspired by that, and what you said.
